Kids Beach Club...Obedience = Blessings

Kids Beach Club makes Jesus Cool at School and at Hawaiian Falls!  This is Tammy Terrell and her little new Forever Friend, Ayson! He invited Jesus into his life July 18th at the Mansfield Hawaiian Falls Waterpark! Kids Beach Club is blessed to have such an amazing partnership with Dave Busch and his staff at all 4 DFW Waterparks! Thank you for a great summer! OBEDIENCE = BLESSINGS!!!

Luke 5:1-11 is a familiar story to many.  To sum it up, Simon Peter had been fishing all night and when Jesus told him to cast his nets on the other side of the boat he didn’t want to but obeyed “because He said so!”  Thursday, July 18^th was one of those days for me.  I had a lot to do and obstacles were thrown at me and I just didn’t want to go to Hawaiian Falls to do Beach Club.  But because I had committed to do it… I went.  I asked God to forgive me of my poor attitude and use me for His glory.

So when Peter obeyed they caught so many fish that the nets began to break and they had to call for another boat! God abundantly blessed his obedience. Peter’s response? “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” Because I obeyed and went anyway God had a little 7-year-old boy named Ayson waiting for me. He needed someone to tell him how Jesus could be His forever friend! That someone was me!  There is no greater joy than leading a child to faith in Christ. My response? “Thank you for using me in spite of me! It’s not about me, but all about You, Lord.”

So be encouraged Beach Club Volunteers! When the enemy throws everything at you to try to keep you from sharing the Gospel at a public school or at Hawaiian Falls, and he will, simply obey!  God will take care of the rest and He will be glorified!  He chooses to use us to spread His word to a lost world. Wow! Obedience truly equals blessings!
