Kuddos Justin LaFond!


I am writing to inform you of the remarkable service my family and I received at your Garland location today. I am a single mother of two  children. My son Jacob is severely autistic and my daughter Madison is deaf. Needless to say a trip to the water park is quit a handful for myself. I don't take much time off work, but I decided to take my two children and my parents to the water park today. When we first arrived to the park we were greeted by a young man named Justin who could clearly see that I was struggling carrying our cooler. He walked right up and asked if he could carry the cooler for us. With no hesitation I gave it to him and he carried it all the way to the wave pool for us. He quickly realized the needs of both of my children, but didn't count them out. When we arrived to our table he told me he only knew a few things but asked me if he could sign to my daughter. I told him sure and he bent down and signed to her that she was "beautiful" and to "have a good day". He immediately put a smile on her face and mine. When I asked him where he learned ASL he told me one of his aunts was deaf. My dad pulled out his billfold and attempted to tip Justin. He refused a few times, but my dad being a stubborn man forced him to take it. Justin returned later in the day with two bags of cotton candy and two big squirts for my children and told us that he used the tip to purchase the candy and water guns for the children. My parents and I were truly blown away by this. Later on when we saw him near the locker shop he showed both of my children how to fill up the big squirts. He even checked on us a few more times throughout the day. Every time he talked to us and interacted with my children the best he knew how. I'm not sure what his role is at the park, but I know he took time out to impact our visit.  He truly made our visit one we will never forget. When we got home my son asked when was the next time we could go back to see Justin, not when was the next time we could go to the water park. It proved to me how impactful he was not to just myself, but also my children.  All of the staff we came in contact with today was such a pleasure to be around. We had a really great day and we owe it to all of your employees.
