Several great things, but ultimately, the story needs to speak for itself.
1. Thanks Kim Josh and staff
2. This has nothing to do with making money or waterpark initiatives
3. This made such an impact the Johnsons, took time to write back
4. Definitely above and beyond the call of duty
5. Nothing was allegedly said about Christian principles but they were demonstrated
To Whom It May Concern:On Sunday, September 2, 2012 my wife and 4 children were involved in a car accident on Byron Nelson Blvd. right in front of Hawaiian Falls Roanoke. Thankfully no one in either car was injured, however we were all very shaken up and distraught over what occurred.Within only seconds of us getting out of our vehicle, did I find a group of your employees marching on the scene, making their way to us and the other vehicle, armed with fresh, cold bottled water and CB radios. Calling 911 before I even had sense to do so, your employees helped our family keep cool (literally) and calm through a very scary incident.Once the fire trucks, ambulance, and police arrived, your employee Kim Worley remained and while I gave our information to the police and took photos of the scene, she took my family inside your administration office to get them out of the scorching heat.Later, after I finished speaking with the Police, someone asked me the all important question, ‘Do you have someone who can pick you up?” I literally was dumb founded because I hadn’t even thought of it. Suddenly, I saw Kim walking up to me and said, ‘By the way my husband Josh has a suburban and is coming to take you home if you need it.” I was so grateful. Her husband Josh did take us all home eventually and was so kind and generous to go out of his way to help. There were other employees that helped that day but regrettably I wasn’t able to get their names, but were all so helpful, professional, and welcoming to our family. In the middle of our crisis, your team was a light among the confusion and stress, and for that we will always be grateful. It is obvious that you train your employees with the foundation of Christ’s principals of loving others and servanthood. We just want to thank all the employees at Hawaiian Falls Roanoke, and the leaders of Hawaiian Falls for training your team the way you do.Dealing with a car accident is no fun. But my family is physically strong and healthy, we are together and that is what matters. That day will not be a good memory for the most part. But Hawaiian Falls will be the silver lining in all of this because the way they extending Christ’s love to us in a time of need.Gratefully,"Mr. & Mrs. Johnson"
